Privacy Policy

This policy explains what LabelShield collects, how we use it, where it lives, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and plain. If anything is unclear, email us at labelshieldai@gmail.com.

Overview

LabelShield is an administrative compliance pre-screening tool for Amazon supplement sellers. It reads Certificates of Analysis, product labels, and listing text you upload, and produces a structured compliance report. The service is currently operated as an independent beta project. What we collect

  • Account information. Your email address, and your name if you provide it. Authentication is handled by a third-party authentication provider.
  • Your content. Documents you upload (Certificates of Analysis, product label images) and any listing text you paste into the product.
  • Payment information. If you purchase credits or a subscription, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
  • Basic usage data. Standard server logs and error reports we need to operate and debug the service.

How we use your information

We use your information to run LabelShield: authenticate you, generate compliance reports from your uploads, take payment for paid plans, send transactional email (receipts, password resets, report notifications), and monitor errors so we can fix them.

We do not use your uploaded documents to train AI models.

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for their own marketing, or use it for advertising.

Beta document review

LabelShield is in beta. To improve the accuracy of our compliance engine, our team may review documents and reports generated through the service. These reviews are confidential and used only to refine the product. By uploading documents during the beta, you consent to this review.

You can opt out at any time by emailing labelshieldai@gmail.com. Opting out does not affect your access to the service; your documents will be excluded from internal review going forward. We plan to replace this language with an explicit consent prompt at first upload.

Where your data is stored

Account information and document metadata are stored in a managed cloud database hosted in the United States. Uploaded files are kept in private cloud storage that is not publicly accessible. Access is restricted to LabelShield and the providers that operate this infrastructure.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers to run the service. Each only receives the data it needs to do its job:

  • Authentication provider
  • Cloud database and file storage provider
  • AI analysis provider, for automated document review
  • Payment processor
  • Transactional email provider
  • Hosting provider
  • Error monitoring provider

We can share a current list of providers with enterprise customers under NDA on request.

Retention

Uploaded documents are kept until you delete the associated report or close your account. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete it. After a deletion request, residual copies may remain in routine backups for a short period and are removed as those backups cycle.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Export a copy of your data.

Cookies

We use essential session cookies so you can sign in and stay signed in, and basic privacy-respecting analytics that help us understand which pages are visited. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party trackers, so we do not show a cookie banner.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls on storage, and the principle of least privilege. If we ever become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you without unreasonable delay.

Children

LabelShield is a business tool intended for sellers. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes, which may include updating the policy snapshot date below or contacting you by email.
